Maharashtra Board SSC Exam Begin Today

Class 10th students will appear for the Secondary School Certificate board examination starting Friday with language as their first paper. A total of 16,41,568 students will appear for the new course whereas 59,245 will appear for the old course. The examinations, that will go on till March 22, will have activity-based questions, according to a statement issued by the Ashok Bhosale, secretary of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education. After the examination, the students can check the results through the FastResult websites. The results will also be available through FastResult Mobile app.

                                                                                                                   

This year, the board revised the SSC syllabus, paper patterns and also scrapped internal exam for languages and social sciences. Of the total candidates, 9,27,822 are boys & 7,72,842 are girls. The students belong to 22,244 secondary schools and will appear in 4,874 examination centres spread in 9 divisions: Mumbai, Pune, Nashik, Nagpur, Aurangabad, Kolhapur, Amravati, Latur and Konkan.

This year, the applications were filled online by Saral Portal, and the hall tickets were also provided online. This examination is the last chance for the students who wish to appear for the exam set according to the old course.
